This Fort is unlike any other, the only one of its kind, with probably one of the best sunset views in Namibia. Overlooking the beautiful Etosha Fisher’s Pan, accommodation consists of eleven Bush Suites, one Honeymoon Suite as well as a Sultan Suite. The Bush and Honeymoon Suites are equipped with fire places for the winter months and air coolers for the summer months. Each Bush and Honeymoon Suite has an indoor and outdoor shower and views that will enchant. With dramatic Moroccan details, there is something new to discover around every corner.

Onguma The Fort consists of a fort style main complex on split levels, 11 Bush Suites, 1 Honeymoon Suite (includes a lounge with flat screen television and outdoor bath and shower), and a Sultan’s Suite on the upper level of the main complex (includes a lounge with flat screen television, bath and shower). All suites overlook Fischer`s Pan. The main guest area consists of a lounge, two dining areas, small safari shop, a tower bar as well as a swimming pool. Onguma offers a variety of game activities both in the Etosha National Park and in Onguma Nature Reserve. They include photographic hide, guided interpretive walks, sunset drives in the Onguma Reserve and Etosha guided safaris.

Cancellation / Prepayment
Full payment is required in advance to confirm bookings at this accommodation establishment. Payment instructions are sent out together with the booking confirmation by Natural Destinations. Unless stated otherwise on the booking confirmation, bookings can be cancelled up to 30 days prior to the planned arrival date without cancellation fees. Cancellation that are done 29 days or less prior to planned arrival date will incur cancellation fees.
Children and extra beds
Onguma The Fort is unfenced and therefore no children under the age of 7 years will be allowed. Children 7 to 11 years of age sharing with adults, pay children rates. Game Drives are conducted on open safari vehicles. Children under 10 years are not permitted on game drive vehicles (unless private game drives are booked; private game drives are an extra cost, are subject to availability and should be booked in advance).
