Why you should visit
Wild, unpredictable, and fiercely beautiful — Savuti is one of Botswana’s most legendary wildlife regions. Located within Chobe National Park, this remote area is known for its dramatic predator-prey interactions, especially between lions and elephants. The Savuti Channel, which mysteriously flows and dries up over decades, shapes the landscape and wildlife movements, creating a dynamic and ever-changing environment. Open plains, rocky outcrops, and ancient baobabs set the stage for intense game viewing and unforgettable wilderness moments.
Our favourite time to visit
From May to October, the dry season draws large concentrations of wildlife to the Savuti Marsh and waterholes, offering some of the best predator sightings in Southern Africa. This is the time to witness nature at its rawest — powerful, untamed, and deeply immersive.
